Offering 4 MEGAPIXEL full HD quality (1920x1080P), this camera has so many cool features, we'll try to list most of them but we highly recommend that you download the spec sheet and spend a few minutes reading through it. We can't adequately describe the new technology in this short paragraph.... The Sanyo VCC-HD4000 is a 4 megapixel true day/night camera with a built in 10X optical auto focus motorized programmable zoom lens (6.3 - 63mm). With 4 MP resolution that is progressive scan, the image quality is undescribable. One of the many powerful features is the ability to record HD images directly to a SD memory card or onto a 3.5" hard disk in an optional piggyback drive case that bolts onto the camera. This enables stand alone, HD quality recording with no external connections (other than power). Think of the possibilities! This thing is amasing! We have tried several other mini DRVs, sometimes called micro DVRs, in our test lab. This one is the cream of the crop and the smallest by far. Here's why. This unit records at the same high resolution (720 X 480) as the full size DVRs yet it is only 2" tall!!! This yields a superb picture on the built in 2.37" LCD screen and can also be played back on a full size NTSC monitor or a television with a "aux in" connection. Use of the live mode makes it easy to set up your camera shot quickly. This micro DVR also records full motion video - a blazing 25-30 images per second. RCI has done it again! The 9320 and 9321 series Easy Read™ proximity reader system is a breakthrough in simplicity without compromising expandability. The RCI 9320 and 9321 are stand alone prox systems that can accomodate up to 10,000 users, programs in seconds, is aesthetically pleasing, and can accept either prox cards or keyfobs for entry. Users can easily be deleted from the system without the user's card being present.
